Jade Wainwright – Team Manager

What does your job involve?

My role is split into 2 definitive sections. The first is working closely with the Account Director, looking at group strategies and marketing campaigns for key client. The second is managing a team of Senior / Account Managers on a day to day basis. Ensuring the smooth running of the account and training the team to a high standard.

  1. How long have you worked at PAB?

I’ve worked at PAB Studios almost 7 years! I started as a temporary Account Executive covering maternity leave and I’ve been here ever since!

  1. What were you doing before PAB?

Before PAB I worked in an alternative Advertising agency for 2 years as well as training to be a tattooist…

  1. What did you want to be when you were younger?

My degree was actually in Graphic Design but part of my degree consisted of Advertising and Marketing which I found extremely interesting and more challenging.

When I was really young I always wanted to be an Artist. I used to sit and draw for hours and hours, getting lost in my own little creations J

  1. If you could be anywhere, right now, where would you be?

My first answer would be in bed sleeping! Working full time and having 2 young children certainly can take its toll but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

If I thought about my answer it would have to be Disney world, Florida. One of my personal ambitions if to take my kiddies to the Sunshine State and let them have a holiday of a lifetime.

  1. If you could do anything, what would you do?

I’ve always wanted to live and work state side. Since I was about 10 years old I used to cry to my mum wishing I could go to America! ‘She always used to say if you wish for something hard enough it will come true’ I used to collect American coins and even had a “USA” tattoo when I was 16 (luckily its hidden away from any sort of view)

  1. What are your pet peeves?

I really hate bullies and people who think they are better than others. I have been brought up to treat everyone with the same respect and you treat people how you wish to be treated. Rude people also annoy me – I want to go up to them and give them a big hug and say everything will be ok (without looking like a weirdo)

  1. What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about working hard which in return sets a good example to my children. I want my children (my daughter especially) to know that women can be strong and powerful and can achieve anything they want through sheer hard work and determination.

  1. What have you gained from PAB Studios?

There is so much I’ve gained from PAB studios, far too much to list! Not only have PAB seen me transition from a shy, quiet twenty-something year old to a confident, independent thirty-something year old, they have seen my potential and help me grow in my career. PAB have always offered me guidance and a clear view when sometimes life gets a little hazy.

  1. What is your favourite thing about working at PAB?

As always I have a few fave things;

The people! Both internally and externally. I have met so many wonderful people in the office and client side.

PAB treat you like family. They know everyone individually and tailor their training to bring out your strengths and offer help on your weaknesses (we all have them)

Camille and Mick always have their door open! Always available if you need an important decision making or a chat about life.

And finally, you get out what you put in, PAB Studios see potential in everyone.
