It’s not a bird and it isn’t a plane. It doesn’t really look anything like either of them, to be honest. But it can fly and it’s got something no bird can ever offer: a 4k/25fps, 12 megapixel camera with 3-axis gimbal stabilization. That’s right – it’s a drone, we’ve got a drone.
Drone footage provides a fresh perspective which can elevate your storytelling to new levels and expose your brand to new audiences.
We’ve got 2 drone pilots on the books who have been granted a PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) by the Civil Aviation Authority, meaning we’re able to fly a drone for commercial video purposes to a maximum of 400ft.
We take safety very seriously and there are plenty of restrictions with drone flying, but we’ll do any job as long as it’s possible to do so safely.
Whether you want to showcase your impressive range of used cars or capture a special event from a unique 360 angle, aerial filming can (quite literally) take your video to new heights; it works as a standalone production and can also be woven in with traditional on-the-ground recordings.
Drones are useful for more than just video, too. They’re often used in the engineering and construction industries to survey sites or inspect structures. Drones are able to get into inaccessible areas or unsafe spaces with ease, eliminating the need for expensive safety equipment and reducing the risk to employees.
Which drone model do we use, we hear nobody ask? Well, it’s a DJi Mavic Pro, widely regarded to be one of the best on the market for videography purposes. It’s nimble and easy to operate but packs a powerful photographic punch once it’s up in the skies across Yorkshire.
Once we’ve got the footage we’ll call on the services of our expert video team to knit everything nicely together into the finished product – perfect for an eye catching social media campaign and a great way to enrich a piece of content.
